Book Prize "BUCHLIEBLING"
Since 2006 every year the BUCHLIEBLING Trophy is awarded to Austria´s most acclaimed and popular books in various categories as well as to the most favourite authors, selected by audiance and special juries. The winners receive the award during the BOOK GALA NIGHT.
The BUCHLIEBLING competition is an initiative of the publisher's office Schwarzer in co-operation with echo medienhaus Vienna. Also in cooperation with the Association of the book and media industry in Austria and the Federal Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture, and numerous other partners from industry, book publishers, the Austrian booksellers, the media as well as some supporters of the “book” as a cultural-institution.
